The VCF Academy World Cup fills the Ciudad Deportiva with colour

300 players from the VCF Academy Programs in Oceania, America, Asia and Europe enjoy a great opening ceremony at the Antonio Puchades

From Australia to Mexico, from Canada to Saudi Arabia, from the USA to Jordan, from Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, the Netherlands and Hungary... the Antonio Puchades was filled with the colours of the flags of these countries as they paraded in the opening ceremony of the V VCF Academy World Cup.

Cheers from the stands and excited faces on the pitch during a parade to the music selected by each of the 15 U12 teams taking part in this tournament, which in its fifth edition has surpassed the record for participants and has established itself as an event that brings together Valencianistas from every corner of the world.

Legends and ambassadors

The intense heat was no obstacle to enjoying an opening ceremony attended by Club ambassadors and legends Ricardo Arias and Miguel Ángel Bossio, who welcomed each of the participating teams to take the official photo before the start of the tournament, which will conclude on Saturday night.

PLAYERS WEEK

In addition to the 15 teams taking part in the V VCF Academy World Cup, the nearly 100 players participating in the Elite Camp U16 and the Draft U14, which make up the Players' Week taking place at the Ciudad Deportiva these days, also took part in this opening ceremony.
